This class introduces students to the possibilities of sculptural form and space with hands-on projects using different tools and materials. The course is not only about processes and techniques but also includes ideas about materials, their limitations and possibilities. This fast-paced, hands-on course teaches you to make more reasonable choices when you consider constructing your ideas. Each student experiences working with 5 techniques in 6 different materials and ends the course with 4 scaled pieces and the knowledge of how to develop their ideas into fully-realized sculptures. All materials, tools, and supplies are provided.
